Traditional real estate companies throughout the United States have tried very hard to keep sales commissions at the traditional rate of 6% - and these fees are truly justified by the immense overhead associated with running an expensive real estate office. InterMLS® does not set the rate of commission for your listing agreements, giving you the unrestrained ability to bid your services. Our greatest advantage is giving our real estate agents the freedom to charge whatever rate they deem profitable, based on their own operating costs.
To put this in perspective, you may have a buyer who wants a certain property, and you have a client that is considering the possibility of selling but just cannot handle the prospect of paying 6% commission. You could simply get an exclusive one-time listing for this particular client and just by introducing the two parties, negotiate a deal of 50% or less than the industry standard commission rate.
Our system is so foolproof that by negotiating the above-mentioned deal, you will still make more money than you would in a traditional office.
